Comments: *Tartarian Maple is native to that area. "Hot Wings" is a patented variety developed in Colorado. Less prone to storm breakage than other Tartarain Maples since it has strong branch unions. Other Tatarian maples. A Colorado Plant Select Tree.

Warnings: ^Some sites list 7,000 feet as highest elevation.
